Parents play a key part in child's overall oral and dental health. Parents are always welcome back in my treatment area.
We are committed to keeping everyone safe and minimizing any risk of exposure due to COVID-19. Therefore, currently we are treating only one family at a time in our office.
We are also reserving the first appointment of the day for immunocompromised patients or family members. Just let us know when scheduling.
I treat every child as my own & appreciate that no two children are alike behaviorally, emotionally, developmentally, or psychologically.
Dr. Monica ensures plenty of time with each child so she can create a specialized and individual plan for each child.
My primary goal is to set your child up for success in their lifelong journey of dental health.
Our approach is conservative as we only recommend what is necessary and we provide alternate options while discussing respective risks and benefits.
We will never push your child if they are not comfortable.
Dr. Monica Sharma, a native of Atlanta, Georgia, attended The University of Georgia for her undergraduate degree and then obtained her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from The Medical College of Georgia in Augusta.
Her love for children led her to further pursue specialty residency training in Pediatric Dentistry from The University of Texas, Health & Science Center in Houston in 2006.
After returning home to Georgia, she joined a larger pediatric group where she practiced for over 11 years before taking some extensive time to travel with her 2 children and husband.
She recently opened her own pediatric dental practice in Cumming, GA and more recently added a second location in Milton, GA.
She and her family reside in Milton and are an active part of the Milton community. Her husband is also a practicing family physician in Milton.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, cooking, art, and spending time with her husband and two precious children.
It’s clear, her passion for pediatric dentistry lies in creating a positive dental experience for each child. She strives to build a nurturing and trusting relationship with every child, while providing them the best dental care possible.
By doing this, she aims to dissipate fear and provide children an experience that will foster a lifetime of outstanding dental health and dental care. Whether heard singing or story telling, her love for children and attention to detail can be seen throughout.
